I build and operate controlled, observable production delivery environments for Java, Spring, .NET Core, and PostgreSQL-focused application stacks. My work centers on CI/CD automation, Kubernetes operations, release control, observability, and practical Infrastructure as Code.
At Sebit, I started as a Monitoring Specialist and later moved into a DevOps Engineer role. My work has covered PostgreSQL-focused data layers, high-availability Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, Nginx, Tomcat, monitoring platforms, deployment automation, release workflows, Kubernetes operations, and runtime performance visibility. A major focus has been making development and release work faster, easier to control, and easier to troubleshoot.
Work Experience
DevOps Engineer
Sebit Information & Education Technologies Inc.- Converted release workflows into automated, controlled CI/CD paths with Jenkins, GitLab Runner, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, and Ansible, enabling teams to build, deploy, and promote changes faster with clearer ownership.
- Standardized reusable reference
ci.ymltemplates so new projects can connect to a common pipeline, update environment values, and deploy through developer self-service or DevOps-managed workflows. - Built deployment flows from code push to image creation, static code analysis, beta deployment, and controlled promotion to pre-production and production with QA/developer approval gates.
- Operate 200+ microservices across 10+ Kubernetes clusters with Helm, including chart configuration, values management, rollout/rollback coordination, and service troubleshooting.
- Helped move production delivery into a more controlled and observable engineering environment by combining CI/CD automation, approval gates, monitoring signals, logs, metrics, and APM traces.
- Support 1000+ Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Debian VM environments and HA services such as PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, Nginx, and Tomcat.
- Use Puppet to manage and automate Linux server configurations.
- Provide infrastructure and runtime support for Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, and .NET Core services in production environments.
Monitoring Specialist
Sebit Information & Education Technologies Inc.- Designed and implemented monitoring infrastructure from scratch for monolithic applications, VM-based systems, and core services using Nagios and Zabbix.
- Automated VM and service discovery, group assignment, and activation of relevant monitoring checks for newly detected infrastructure and application services.
- Monitored infrastructure health across CPU, disk, memory, mounts, services, port listening checks, and application-specific service availability.
- Expanded observability for microservices and Kubernetes environments with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alertmanager.
- Implemented runtime and application performance visibility with Glowroot and Elastic APM, including response times, error rates, and error trace analysis.
DevOps Consultant & System Monitoring Specialist
Independent DevOps Consulting- Provide scoped, part-time DevOps, monitoring, and infrastructure support for client systems, focused on defined delivery, troubleshooting, and observability improvements.
- Support HA service setup, deployment automation, observability improvements, and operational troubleshooting for Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, and Terraform-based environments.
